Format for the Zurich LAMA Awards

There are 20 categories eligible for a Zurich LAMA Award. Each County Councilor and City Councilor has one nomination per category. You will be notified if your company has been nominated for an award. You will then be required to complete your submission in order to keep your nomination. Criteria for each category is clearly laid out below. All winners will be presented with a beautiful, bespoke, engraved, crystal trophy and will also have a photo opportunity with one of the VIP Presenters, as well as being issued with a press release for PR purposes. The Awards will also be televised on City Channel. Winners will also receive the Zurich LAMA Awards logo for use on their website and for all printed matter. Branding guidelines for same must be adhered to and will be included in printed matter.

Conditions of Entry - Free Entry

  1. Award category submissions are open to all companies/councils/individuals nominated by Councillors only.
  2. All submissions must be completed electronically and submitted via email to hannah.bates@ashville.com . Supporting material if applicable may be submitted in hard copy or soft copy. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
  3. Word Count: Entries must not exceed four A4 pages of text. This does not include cover sheet. Unfortunately entries exceeding four pages cannot be considered for judging.
  4. Supporting material: Supporting material may include brochures, photographs, media coverage etc. Any hard copy of supporting material may be sent to the event organisers at Ashville Media Group, Events Division , 57-59 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2.
  5. Entries will be confirmed on receipt of email. This proves that your entry has been accepted.
  6. Closing Date for Entries is October 2009
  7. All entered projects must have been completed within the last 3 years with the exception of parks which is 5 years
  8. If re-entering a project there must be substantial upgrades/ redevelopment since previous submission, and must include before & after illustrations/photos and state amount invested in redevelopment.

Nominations

All Councillors have one nomination per category although they are not obliged to nominate in every category.

Judging

Submissions will be judged by a professional & independent panel of judges. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Short listing

We anticipate that no fewer than 3 projects will be shortlisted in each category. Winners will be presented awards at the event in January 2010.
