The Local Authority Members Association is delighted to announce that nominations will shortly begin for the 2012 LAMA Awards, in association with Irish Public Bodies (IPB)! As the Awards move into their sixth year, several changes have been made to the category list, nominations and submissions, as well as the adjudication process in order to further standardize the LAMA Awards, and to reflect the changing nature of Irish society and economy. The 2012 LAMA Awards have expanded to include six new categories, which acknowledge the important role that business, communications, and tourism play on both a local and national level in conjunction with councils. These new categories build on our goal to acknowledge various outstanding projects across Ireland.
